About
Tatyana Abel is a Canadian artist born and raised in the beautiful Georgian Bay region. Her work is deeply informed by her travel experiences, which have shaped both her artistic perspective and her choice of medium. Living a mobile lifestyle, she has distilled her practice into a portable kit of watercolour paints, brushes, and paper, allowing her to capture the world wherever she goes.Tatyana’s passion lies in observing the natural world and sharing its subtle wonders through her art—a curiosity that has guided her since beginning the Fine Art program at Georgian College and completing her degree at NSCAD University. Her current practice explores the patterns and iconography of flora and fauna, often weaving recurring symbolic motifs throughout her work, reflecting the interconnectedness and hidden narratives of the natural environment.
She takes commissions.
